Help with the cost of your equipment
Wheelchairs, scooters and seating can be expensive. There are government and charitable programs that help with the cost — and we work with them every day.
Mobility Care is a registered vendor with Ontario's Assistive Devices Program (ADP). We also work with:
ODSP · Veterans Affairs Canada · WSIB · March of Dimes Canada · MS Canada · Ontario Works · STRIDE (Ottawa)
We submit to these programs and bill them directly, so you are not left chasing paperwork on your own.
Want to know about the Assistive Devices Program?
Go straight to the source. For details about the Assistive Devices Program — what it covers, who is eligible and how it works — contact ADP directly or visit:

What we do
- We work alongside your occupational therapist or physiotherapist
- We prepare the quote and submit the funding paperwork
- We tell you what your cost will be before anything is ordered — no surprises
- We deliver your equipment, set it up and adjust it to fit you
- We service and repair it afterward, with our own technicians
Getting started
- Talk to us. Call, email, or come into our Perth showroom.
- Already working with an occupational therapist or physiotherapist? Tell them about us.
- Don't have one? Call us and we will point you in the right direction. Your doctor, your hospital, or your home care office can help too.
- We take it from there.
Important — do not buy first. If you order or buy equipment before your application has been approved, you are responsible for the full cost. This catches people out, particularly when buying online. Talk to a therapist or to us before you purchase anything you hope to have funded.
Questions we hear
Will it cost me anything?
What you pay depends on which programs apply to your situation. We will find out, and we will tell you before anything is ordered.
How long does it take?
It depends on what you need. Everyday equipment you can often take home the same day. A custom wheelchair takes about seven to eight weeks from your therapist's assessment, and most of that is ADP's review and the manufacturer's build time. We will give you a realistic timeline along with your quote, and we will keep you posted.
Can I choose what I want?
You will have real choice among the equipment that suits you — different brands, frames and options. We will show you what is available.
What if I need something right away?
We rent equipment and we keep stock on the floor. Ask us — you may not have to wait.
I'm worried about the cost. Should I just give up?
No. Call us first. Finding the funding is the part we are good at, and we would rather look than have you go without.
