The seat portion, which measures 17.5 x 15.75 in (44 x 40 cm) with a 10.25 x 8.25 in (26 x 21 cm) oval hole, is attached to the frame with clips and removes easily for cleaning. The pail is removable from the top or side. The overall dimensions are 34 x 24 x 21.25 in (86 x 61 x 54 cm), with legs that adjust the seat height from 18 to 25 in (46 to 64 cm) allowing an inclined position for people who have had a hip replacement. The weight capacity is 286 lbs. (130 kg). Clearance under the seat (floor to wire underneath the seat) goes up to 20.5 in (52 cm).
